Meta-Kaolin is a thermally treated kaolin with high pozzolanic reactivity. It is ideal for cement-based systems where the focus is on strength, impermeability and durability. Meta-Kaolin is the ideal solution for ultra-high performance concretes (UHPC), self-compacting concretes (SCC) and high-performance mortars. It increases compressive and flexural strength, reduces water absorption and extends service life. Due to its pozzolanic reaction, it binds free calcium hydroxides and reduces susceptibility to ASR. It is a real added value factor, particularly in civil engineering, precast concrete elements and industrial floors.

Meta-Kaolin improves the structural stability and workability of paste-like fillers and mortars. It ensures smooth, low-shrinkage drying surfaces and increases stability. Its light color allows pigmented applications without optical compromises. It also increases adhesion on critical substrates - especially in renovation systems.

 

Heat-resistant & reactive

Refractory & insulating applications

In refractory formulations, meta-kaolin provides a high purity, reactive aluminosilicate base with excellent temperature resistance. It improves sintering activity, increases compressive strength under heat and supports structural integrity under dynamic loading. It is used in casting compounds, insulating boards, refractory mortars and technical ceramics.
