Hydrous Kaolin - The fine allrounder for paints, plasters & adhesives
Hydrous Kaolin is a natural, non-thermally treated kaolin with a fine, platelet-like particle structure. This unsealed form ensures high brightness, chemical inertness and excellent dispersibility in aqueous systems. As a functional filler, it offers optimum added value in formulations of paints, plasters, fillers and adhesives - at attractive costs and easy handling.

Paints & Varnishes
Hydrous Kaolin improves opacity and ensures even pigment distribution in matt and semi-matt systems. It stabilizes the viscosity and enables clean, streak-free application. At the same time, it reduces the binder requirement and lowers formulation costs - with high color brightness and long-term stability.

Renders & Putty
In paste-like renders, Hydrous Kaolin provides a stable structure, prevents sagging on the wall and improves the surface quality. Its fine particle structure enables a homogeneous grain distribution, which has a positive effect on processing and the visual result. It reduces water absorption and thus improves the durability of the formulation. It also contributes to crack minimization and even drying in putties. Thanks to its natural composition, it is ideal for diffusion-open systems.

Plastics & Rubber
Hydrous Kaolin is used as a technical filler in plastic and rubber formulations to improve dimensional stability and thermal resistance. It increases dimensional accuracy in thermoplastic processes and reduces shrinkage in thermoset systems. It also supports mechanical strength without impairing processability. Its chemical inertness makes it compatible with a wide range of polymers.

Paper
Hydrous Kaolin is used in the paper industry as a pigment filler and coating component. It improves opacity, smoothness and printability - especially in coated papers. Its light color ensures uniform surfaces and a high-quality appearance. At the same time, the use of more expensive fiber materials can be reduced without impairing the printing or further processing properties.
